Sallustĭus or Salustĭus, ii, m., Sallust, a Roman name.

    Hence, Sallustĭānus (Salust-), a, um, adj., of or like Sallust, Sallustian: illa brevitas, Quint. 4, 2, 45; 10, 1, 32: lectio, Gell. 18, 4, 1.
    Subst.: Sallustĭānus, i, m., an imitator of Sallust, Sen. Ep. 114, 17: Sallustianum illud, that expression of Sallust, Gell. 10, 26, 9.
