flocces, um, f., dregs or less of wine (ante-class.): flocces audierat prisca voce significare vini faecem e vinaceis expressam, sicuti fraces ex oleis, idque apud Caecilium in Polumenis legerat, Gell. 11, 7, 6: neque florem, neque flocces volo mihi, vinum volo, Caecil. ap. floccus, i, m., a lock or flock (of wool, on clothes, in fruits, etc.).
