Hence, trop.: nos mare acerrumum: nam in mari repperi, hic elavi bonis, have lost, been stripped of property, id. As. 1, 2, 9 (but Plaut. Trin. 2, 4, 7, the true reading is elutum, Ritschl, Brix).
