pasco, pāvi, pastum, 3, v. a. and n. [root pa-; Sanscr. gō-pas, herdsman; Gr. πατέομαι; cf. pabulum, pastor, Pales, panis; perh. also, Penates, penum], to cause to eat, to feed, pasture.
